tarvergen wrote on Dec 31, '07 drcirilo said I have been going through the genealogy above and have found it facinating. Lotus, I presume, put it together? It must have taken her countless hours and hours and hours. Thank you for the information. ![]() wow. I just noticed this post and it appears to have been here forever! Well, not forever, but a while. Mama started the genealogy years ago. I began helping her, oh so very little, in the late 80s, but more earnestly at least by the early 90s. Later, after she was no longer able to do any research, I continued. Towards the last couple of years when she required so much more of my assistance for her daily living, I set it aside, but together we had accomplished quite a lot by then. We did so much traveling to libraries, courthouses, cemeteries and even kin and distant kin, collecting photos, documents, census data, and so forth. I cherish all the time she and I spent together on this project. I can't even begin to tally how many hours we put in! It was fascinating to me as well! |
